Vega (Vega Tamotia) is an Indian film actress and model. She was born in India, but brought up in Sydney, Australia. She was born on May 7th, 1985 in Chattisgarh. Her family moved to Sydney when her father got a job there. She completed her education in Economics from the University of New South Wales and then attended Indian Institute of Management Bangalore as part of an exchange program. She worked at Price Water house Coopers in Sydney before joining National Institute of Dramatic Arts in Australia.
Theater was her passion. So, Having an interest in theater and acting, she kept participating in theater plays throughout her childhood and school. She was part of the Broadway Drama Troupe.She got a chance to work with Swanand Kirkire’s musical, "Aao Saathi Sapna Dekhein", which won the Mahindra Excellence in Theater Award for Best Ensemble.
